Coming from near the Roy Estate in Soda Canyon, the wine offers notes of blueberry, black raspberry, licorice and forest floor, and has a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel and sweet, ripe tannins. It is a beauty and, like so many 2013s, has a certain restrained character, but super-concentration.
