2011 Corte Guala Amarone

I love the classic nose of this Amarone, it's full of bright, wild cherry and plum fruit. On the palate those wild cherry and plum characteristics are backed up with some spice and earthy intrigue. The finish is great, I'm not a fan of clumsy, overly dried and too sweet Amarone, this wine is very full but exceptionally well balanced. Have it with your favorite lasagna or a big hunk of Parmigiano Reggiano!
