2010 Hopes Grove "Silver Lining" Syrah Hawke's Bay

Here is one of the more complex and inviting Syrah bottlings we have tried lately. Spice, pepper and potpourri zoom from the glass as you swirl. There is a kaleidoscope of red and dark fruit, mixed berries, licorice, mineral and limestone shadings that seem to shift and grow as the wine gets more air. This is delicious, compelling and unique. Bravo!
