2009 Michel Arnould "Carte d'Or" Brut Champagne

Beautiful old-vine bubbles that won't break the bank. Count me in! This blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay shows notes of Flintstones chewables (yes, I am serious) and citrus on the nose. On the palate, red berries and lemon curd are the prominent flavors that lead into a dry and chalky finish. This wine will be showing better with a few more years of bottle age, but it's obvious that this is a very high quality wine.
