2009 Cu̱e Gran Reserva Rioja

This is a very approachable Gran Reserva that is apt to entice wine drinkers from all over to drink Rioja! There is some earthiness mixed with black fruit on the nose. The palate is incredibly lively, with black cherry and black plum persisting to the long, softly tannic finish. There is plenty of ripeness here for California fans, but the tangy acidity is signature Rioja!
