2006 Domaine de Marcoux "Vieilles Vignes" Chateauneuf-du-Pape

Transparent crimson. Indistinct nose. Some spice. Very rich start and real reverberation on the palate. This should have people fighting over their allocations. Very powerful yet nervy and alive. A little dry on the finish with some perceptible alcohol but not heavy.
