2004 Artadi "Pagos Viejos" Rioja

Vibrant purplish crimson. Very, very youthful - this practically smells of the fermentation vat. Very lively and lifted and dancing - great refreshment value. Slightly dry, tight, fine tannins on the finish. Very zesty and a mile from blockbuster. Really quite a ballet dancer. 18.5+/20 points. (JR)
