2000 Grand-Puy-Lacoste, Pauillac

We tasted quite a few 2000 Bordeaux one evening on the 2015 Bordeaux evaluation trip‰ÛÓwhat a treat, as the wines were stunning, especially the Giscours and this 2000 Grand-Puy-Lacoste. We bought them and here they are‰ÛÓlimited availability, of course. The Giscours was sweet and lovely, with the GPL having more strength and some tannins. Both were showing great, and they held up to Ch. Margaux and Ch. Haut-Brion, which were served at the same tasting.
