1995 Kistler "Camp Meeting Ridge" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

The 1995 Pinot Noir Camp Meeting Ridge Vineyard (250 cases) is a dense, full-bodied, Cote de Nuits-like wine with gobs of sweet black fruits, earth, and underbrush. Full-bodied and powerful, with more tannin and structure than the Hirsch cuvee, this is another impressive Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Kistler's impressive Pinot Noir portfolio was launched with the 1994s, which will be released in the marketplace over the next 5-6 months. The 1995 Pinot Noirs appear to be as good as the impressive 1994s. (RP)
