2013 Rivers-Marie "Silver Eagle Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

The 2013 Pinot Noir Silver Eagle Vineyard comes across as deep, powerful and intense, with wilder, gamier notes that underpin the dark blue/purplish fruit. Smoke, licorice, violets and earthy notes add depth and gravitas to a Pinot of mysterious, seductive beauty and compelling balance. The Silver Eagle is a blend of Vosne-Roman̩e and Calera clones, done with 10% whole clusters and aged in 33% new French oak.
