2013 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Merlot

The 2013 Merlot (15.2% alcohol, along the lines of 2012) has a vivid black cherry nose and blue fruits in the background. One can see the greatness of this vintage in its purity, inky/purple color and wonderful freshness aligned to great ripeness. Wow, this should turn out to be quite special. (RP)
