2013 Mas Karolina C̫tes du Roussillon Villages

A terrific value, the 2013 Cotes du Roussillon Villages (40% Grenache and 30% each of Syrah and Carignan) shows the purity and freshness of the vintage and offers medium-bodied, lively notes of violets, purple fruits and leather. There‰۪s plenty of classic Carignan feel here, and this inky colored, lively 2013 should drink nicely for at least 4-5 years. (JD)
