2013 Martin Ray "Mill Station Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay

The 2013 Chardonnay Mill Station Vineyard (from a subsite of the Dutton Ranch) was aged 12 months in 40% new French oak. This is a classic Russian River Chardonnay with notes of buttered citrus, orange rind and apple blossom. The wine is medium to full-bodied, pure, clean and impeccably crafted. It is firm with a steely background and should age nicely for a decade or more. (RP)
