2013 Le Battistelle "Roccolo del Durlo" Soave Classico

The "Roccolo del Durlo" comes from over 100-year-old vines from red iron laden clay, volcanic and sand stone soils. This is old vine fruit at its finest expressing so much terroir. Intense aromas of smoke, almond skin and apples and so much flavor intensity of yellow fruit, wet stones and flint on the palate. With higher acidity and great texture this is a perfect pair for linguine and clams or any seafood dish.
