2013 Ladera Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Always one of our favorites for Napa Cabs that punches well above its‰۪ weight class. The ‰Û÷13 Ladera continues that tradition, bringing us a wine that has richness and body that belies the reasonable $35 price tag. Densely aromatic, blackberries and thyme are the first wave, followed by hints of cassis and loam. Weighty on the palate, black licorice and plum gives a lower tone, warmed by spice from oak, cloves and vanilla richly wrap the wine in a lovely frame. Will all estate fruit going into this wine, they are able to control the entire process and really deliver killer wine at this price point.
