2013 Joseph Phelps "Freestone Vineyards" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Up until the 2010 vintage, this western outpost of Napa Valley's Joseph Phelps was just called "Freestone Vineyards," but they decided that the Phelps name was more recognizable. Same biodynamically farmed vineyard, same Freestone-dedicated winemaking facility located on a curiously sunny bluff in the midst of foggy coastal Sonoma County. These wines have been outstanding from the start.
