2013 Domaine J. Roty Marsannay "Les Ouzeloy"

Dark red with ruby highlights. Slightly liqueur-like aromas of roasted dark raspberry and licorice. Sweet and concentrated but a bit raw in the early going, with the black fruit flavors showing terrific energy but some youthful toughness. Revealed more mid-palate creaminess with aeration, suggesting that this wine has very good potential. (ST)
