A model of total grace and understatement, the 2013 Doisy-DaÌÇne is drop-dead-gorgeous. Freshly cut white flowers, mint, sweet spices, pears and lychee all meld together in the glass in an effortless, gracious wine. The soft, intensely floral, crystalline finish makes it impossible to resist a second taste. The 2013 Doisy-DaÌÇne impresses for its superb drinkability. If I was going to buy only one moderately-priced Sauternes in 2013, Doisy-DaÌÇne would be it.
