2013 Copain "Tous Ensemble" Mendocino County Syrah

The 2013 Syrah Tous Ensemble is fabulous. Inky dark blue/purplish fruit, smoke, licorice, grilled herbs jump from the glass. A dollop of whole clusters adds gorgeous aromatic/savory overtones. Drink this juicy, lifted Syrah over the next few years. This is a terrific showing from Copain, not to mention a tremendous value. (AG)
