2013 Alexander Valley Vineyards "Wetzel Family Estate" Cabernet Sauvignon

87% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest mostly Merlot with a little Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. The wine has a dark ruby/purple color and lovely blackcurrant, licorice-infused notes with subtle background wood spice. It is ripe, has an excellent texture, is medium-bodied and is best drunk over the next 3-4 years. (RP)
