2012 Torrin " Vicinage Series-Law Vineyard" Paso Robles Syrah/Grenache

Bright purple. Intense perfume of dark fruit preserves, incense and potpourri, plus a smoky mineral overtone. Stains the palate with ripe blueberry and blackberry flavors that become more energetic and spicy with aeration. Quite suave given its depth and power, this blend finishes with superb focus and smooth, slow-building tannins. (JR)
