2012 Keenan Napa Valley Merlot

This is Merlot made by people who love Merlot, and it shows. Keenan is always my "go to" Napa Merlot. It is pure, complex, and structured. Dark red fruit leap from the glass, peppered with spice and earth. This is not fleshy and soft but rather poised and linear. While you can drink this as a cocktail you should serve it with steak.
