2012 Hendry "Barrel Fermented" Napa Valley Chardonnay

More floral than fruity, this white spent almost a year in French oak, a third of it new. Still, the oak doesn‰۪t overpower or overwhelm, allowing medium-bodied layers of stone fruit and apple to rise to the fore, finishing savory with a sense of dried herb.
