2012 Domaine Louis Michel Chablis Grand Cru "Grenouilles"

Among those wines tasted in tank from its collection that displays amplitude and density at the expense of some clarity, Michel‰۪s 2012 Chablis Grenouilles features chalk-infused apple and winter pear, a slick of glycerol underscoring their ripeness, while piquancy of pip serves for counterpoint in a sustained finish. I suspect that it will be best enjoyed on the young side, probably by 2018. (DS)
