2012 Ch̢teau Trians "T de Trians" Coteaux Varois en Provence Rouge

Trians' most serious red, here the addition of Cabernet lends more backbone and structure to an already mouthfilling wine. The way that Cabernet, Syrah and Grenache play together in the region is a revelation. Having lovely currant and blackberry fruit with layers of garrigue and fresh picked herbs make this an enticing wine now. Still youthful, I recommend an hour decanting or better yet save it for a year or two down the road. Perfect choice for a Cal-Med cuisine of grilled meats and vegetables lightly charred with a slather of olive oil over everything.
