The nose of this wine is full of warm, wafting chocolaty Corvina... that‰۪s the main grape in Amarone. These aromatics fill you with the sensation of something full and dense and it is rich. On the palate, the wine flows across your tongue with a velvety texture, but is highlighted by enough acidity to keep it from getting fat. While still being full bodied, the wild cherry flavors just bowls you over. The finish is full of those complex chocolaty cherry flavors and continues on for seconds.
