2011 Santoleri "Vignaladra" Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

The Santoleri Vigna Ladra is not fined or filtered it is just the pure expression of Santoleri‰۪s vineyards and soil. I love the wild, gamey flavors of this wine and find the luxuriating texture fascinating. This wine needs a bold food pairing, and if you could get your hands on some wild boar this would be great! Hey, not all of us can do that, and if not a bone in Rib Eye would do just fine!
