2011 Cliff Lede Vineyards "High Fidelity" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend

Lede's 2011 High Fidelity is a very pretty wine. Dark red cherries, plums, mocha, licorice and new leather all blossom in the glass. This is a decidedly rich, textured style for the year. The firm tannins are really the only clue this is a 2011. With another few years in bottle the 2011 should drink beautifully. Pine, mint, sweet spices and wild flowers add an attractive upper register on the close. The blend is 46% Merlot, 29% Cabernet Franc, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot.
