2010 Marqu̩s de Vargas Reserva Rioja

Deep red. Oak-spiced aromas of ripe cherry and blackberry, with notes of vanilla and coconut building in the glass. Still showing a youthfully oaky character to the sweet dark fruit, mocha and vanilla flavors. Clings with very good smoky intensity and persistence, with dusty tannins adding shape. (JR)
