2006 Domaine Charvin Ch̢teauneuf-du-Pape

Shows the fresh herb, tobacco and black cherry profile of the vintage, with an undertow of briar and tobacco. The long, sappy finish lets fresh acidity carry the day. This should age nicely, as there's nice dark fruit in reserve as well. Best from 2010 through 2029.
