2005 York Creek "Track" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon

Of the two 2005 Cabernets from York Creek, this is perhaps the youngest, richer, more powerful, and deeper of the two. Deeply color, the nose is loaded with cassis, blackberry, currant-like fruit characteristics with a sage-like to spicy white pepper undertone, all of which carries over to broad, viscous, concentrated youthful palate impression. Excellent focus of fruit, with superb integration and complexity, this Gem will age another five to ten-plus years, easily.
