2005 Coufran, Haut-M̩doc

Has crushed blackberry, licorice and light toasty oak on the nose. Full-bodied, with polished tannins and focused blackberry and currant on the palate, with a hint of vanilla and spices. Made mostly from Merlot. Best after 2011. (JS)
