2003 Clos du Caillou "Tradition" Ch̢teauneuf-du-Pape

Smoking good in the vintage, with full-bodied richness and sweet tannin, it boasts perfumed notes of garrigue, Asian spice, dried flowers and kirsch liqueur to go with big fruit, no hard edges and a drink-me-now feel. It‰۪s drinking at point for me, and I‰۪d consume bottles over the coming couple of years while it‰۪s showing so well. (JD)
