1996 Etude Carneros Pinot Noir

Dense, concentrated, firmly tannic, with an earthy, leathery, beefy edge to the ripe cherry, berry, plum and spicy notes. Finishes with complex flavors, and is quite concentrated. Short-term cellaring should bring the tannins into check.
